Thermalright Venomous X Quiet CPU Cooler

Thermalright have designed the Venomous-X as a successor to the award winning U120E CPU heatsink. The Venomous-X sports the best adjustable retention system, or "installing mechanism" to date whilst breaking thermal performance barriers.

The Venomous-X was designed with the future in mind and has installation hardware that allows you to adjust the pressure via it's "Pressure Vault Bracket". Adjustments can be made to create between 40-70lbs of pressure to fit any CPU IHS for the best possible CPU contact.

The Venomous-X has inherited Thermalright's 6mm sintered heat pipe design, with soldered contact points between the fins and heatsink base to ensure effective heat transfer to the fin array. In addition, the arrowed bent winglet design has been improved - the fin gap distance has been increased by 20% to 1.9mm, allowing air to rapidly pass through the heatsink with minimal resistance. As a result, low or high RPM fans will perform excellently.

The nickel coated mirrored copper base has a slightly convex design which draws away heat from the center of the CPU faster.

How does the pressure adjustable system work?

After the installing the pressure adjustable bracket system the pressure between the mounting place and the heatsink is 40 lbs. Turning the pressure adjustable bolt increases the pressure up to an extra 30 lbs. This enables the user to add extra pressure to the heatsink as needed.
