Zalman have released two CPU Coolers in the 10X range, the CNPS10 X Quiet and the CNPS10 X Extreme. For those of you who can not decide, here is a breakdown of the differences between the two CPU coolers.
- 10X Extreme has a detachable fan controller, 10X Quiet has the regular FAN MATE 2
- 10x Extreme has the STG1 thermal grease, 10x Quiet has the latest STG2
- 10X Extreme has a higher RPM, 10x Quiet has a lower RPM
- 10x Extreme has a higher number of copper fins, 10x Quiet has a lower number of fins
- 10x Extreme has black-pearl nickel plated color; 10x Quiet has silver color with blue strip
- 10x Extreme’s 12cm fan is NOT detachable; 10X Quiet’s 12cm fan is detachable and the cooler can be used in fanless mode
