Zalman VNF100 Premium Fanless VGA Heatpipe Cooler

Zalman newest fanless VGA cooler, the VNF100 is an improvement on the ZM80D-HP, which has been around for many years. As well as an improvement in performance, installation is far far easier.

The way the cooler works is very simple. Three heatpipes transfer the heat from the GPU to at back of the graphics card where blue anodized aluminum fins dissipate the heat naturally. The aluminum fins are only 0.4mm wide, this makes the cooler lighter, than some alternatives which in turn puts less stress on the graphics card.

As mentioned before installation is very easy. Once the old cooler has been removed from the graphics card the provided instructions will guide you through the installation process. To see how easy it is, just have a look at the animated installation video below.

Compatibility

The VNF100 is compatible with a vast array of graphics cards from nVidia and ATI. The following is a list of incompatible graphics cards:- nVidia - 6600 AGP, 7300 AGP, 7600 AGP, 7950GX2, 7900 GTO and GTX, 7800 GS and GTX and 8800 series. ATI - X700Pro, X850 series, X1900 series, X1950 series. Zalman’s website provides a more comprehensive list of compatible cards.
